As more and more of us need to work from home, we all face different situation we haven't done before. We might be involved in social distance in real life, but not in the digital world!
We started a new forum here (Work from Home) in ARCHICAD-Talk to discuss every aspects of working from home. This forum will be also regularly checked by GRAPHISOFT employees, including myself, so let me introduce you who I am.
My name is Noémi, and I'm part of the Professional Services Team. I work for GRAPHISOFT Headquarters since 2016.
Some of you already met me in different Teamwork / BIMcloud related topics. I graduated as an Architect, so I'm also familiar with general ARCHICAD related topics.
Feel free to start a new discussion or ask questions - I'm sure, this community - including us, GS people as well - can help you somehow!
Kind regards,
Noémi Balogh

I guess you ordered only one license, but on BIMcloud as a Service you need at least as many licenses as many active users you have.
You should go back to the webshop to order further licenses.
I also suggest to check out our on-boarding article regarding BIMcloud as a Service to get better picture.
Kind regards,
Noémi

That must be the problem.
If I understand well, my colleagues have to create a BIMcloud account exactly like I did?

Thank you,

Hi, I just get BIMcloud set up everything import a project and start to work but when my mate try to join in this teamwork he receive this message “Can’t connect to BIMcloud server”. Can someone help me with this problem?
Welcome to the world of BIMcloud!
I think your team mate's issue is that he cannot connect to your computer, as he is on a different network.

Working from home is easy. Doing it with TeamWork is another matter. There are encumbrances that can't always be fixed at Graphisoft or by TeamWork users.

The ideal situation would be that if all of your staff can run a local copy of any required programs. In this way the VPN is just to access network files / licences, rather than the user's office computer as is the example in the linked thread.

Actually, the 3D navigation could be horrible, but to address this issue, we implemented a new joystick feature in Archicad 23 5003 and Archicad 24: https://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/knowledgebase/127410/
If you have one of these versions, it worth the try. It works pretty similar like what BIMx has, and can be a great help to check the model in 3D in my opinion.
