I'd like to make a object similiar to the one in the picture. I need help.

Hello. I'm looking for a way to create roof similiar to the one in the IRL picture below. Im not sure how to do it in Archicad to achieve the curve and all. I've used a single-pitch roof made of 2 sections that i'm unable to connect. If anyone needs some further explaination, let me know because english isnt my first language and i'm not sure if i described the issue properly.

Thanks to everyone in advance.

Draw your Roof Pitching Line at a tangent to your low to high axis.

Then define your roof boundaries as before.

Though... Your first image does not match the other three... To get two Single Plane Roofs to intersect each other, select one, then ctrl + click the excess part of the other. Repeat with the second roof. Depending on the roof angle and pitching points, you may need to trim some excess off.

if mollens is tying to copy Office Boutique in Dainavos str. (Do Architects)

then the ridge runs corner to corner and triangle roofs sloping down to the other corners of the box.

its a deceptive model, with sloping gutters.

Are you using a single-pitched roof for this? Could you show step by step how to do it?

Hi,

it is 2 single plane roofs.

you could just edit your roofs.

move the pitching line from the out edge to be diagonal across the middle

AllanP_1-1671052969740.png

click on the middle of the pitching line and drag it off the edge

AllanP_4-1671053367843.pngAllanP_5-1671053378690.png

move the ends one by one.

then edit the roof shape so the corner is on the ridge line.

click on the node and move it

AllanP_2-1671053038346.png

then adjust the height of the roof so it is at the top

AllanP_9-1671053709944.png

you can just type in the height

AllanP_11-1671053802113.png

do the same to the other roof

you can adjust the pitch in 3D by grabbing the outer node and moving to the desired height

i hope this helps
