Ability to assign a Bitmap image to objects in 2d

I would really like the ability to assign a texture to a fill background.

So when you for example are doing floor plans you have a bigger impact on the design of the plan.

Firstly you didn't vote for your own wish.

Secondly have you discovered the image fills that can be used with the fill tool or as cover fills on elements (slab & roofs) - can't be used as cut fills though.
The attached imag are some I just quickly made up and placed in a plan.
