What's Required:
The ability to set different Linetypes for Curtain Wall components (transoms, mullions, panels)
One use case: need to show the frames BEHIND the panels to be dashed. This would be great if AC automatically can set this - frames in front of panels to be solid & frames behind set to dashed.
Perhaps an MVO so that frames behind panels can be shown dashed, even if the panels are not transparent.
The CW tool shows this perfectly in the Preview window, but we cannot get the same representation in elevation views...

If you want a workaround, you can make the transom section a separate curtain wall. Duplicate the curtain wall, remove transom from the original and have every other element in the new curtain wall as a deleted panel or invisible connection, give it an identifier and apply a graphic override with a dashed line to it, snip below.
However this is a duplication/separation of parts, so it is likely alright for design/planning presentation but may cause issues with technical information and schedules.
