With the limited storage available (without spending silly money) in the new MacBook Pro’s the use of iCloud Drive to store Documents and Desktop items to synchronise across devices is becoming more prevalent. There used to be an issue where Archicad saved concentric numbered versions of files instead of .bpn’s which seems to have been resolved. However, where libraries are store in iCloud Drive and are not downloaded locally due to setting up a new machine or they haven’t been used for a while and have been offloaded Archicad just sees them as missing or partially loads the data. It would be great if Archicad could force the download of the linked libraries.

Should you not just set the folder with your libraries to not change to Online Only so they do not get "offloaded" due to inactivity? Though I guess you might have some project specific libraries which you would only want if you are actively working on said project... Given how these type of cloud services sync work, that would require the AC to Read each individual file contained within the projects linked libraries rather than just map them...?

The same thing happens to Dropbox files that are stored online only. You select the file to open and it reports it as an invalid file type instead of executing the download.
