The program was softplan ver 11. Similar to AC 9 in that the walls could be broken out as a material list, could show framing & headers, & have surface treatments for 3d/photo viewing. Throw the walls etc on, run a dimension set & edit to size. Took all of 2 minutes to completly layout a first floor plan to size. Problem was 3d as snapshot only so no editing of 3d, no real time 3d, all documents etc were unlinked so change in one place had no effect else where, & it did not do log cut lists. I like AC 9 but it seems as if dimension use & several other things related to the user interface are rather archaic. Don't know if this is to better match those transfering over from autocad, but it seems clunky to me in regards to other programs out there
