When we use the edge-seeking zone creation method, it automatically deducts the area of columns inside it, provided that the columns are set to serve as boundaries or have their area deducted. When the columns inside serve as boundaries, however, their area is silently deducted and the dialog does not explicitly reflect the area deducted as it does when the columns are set to "Reduce Zone Area Only," or as it does when the zone is drawn as a "freehand" polygon.
The data feedback behavior should be uniform
