3D Line Types

Simple wish:

The ability to use line types in the 3D script - e.g SET LINE_TYPE

Currently you can only use solid lines. Graphisoft works around this for Opening lines (Doors/Windows) by scripting dashed line types but this seems totally insane to me - why not just access the line type attributes.

I understand this is a limitation not just for objects but all ArchiCAD elements, so i guess this leads to the option for using non-solid contour linetypes for all ArchiCAD elements in 3D (e.g to show demolished elements in 3D as dashed outlines).

If not, why not?

Essential. I'm sick of scripting 3D objects with dashed lines as well. We need things to show on elevations/sections as dashed lines for existing items, etc.

Voted important with one caveat. It would be great for 3d objects, but please keep it out of the rest of the elements. I already spend a ton of time setting pens in walls, beams, slabs etc.
