Assign fill, pen and texture to composites

Now it is necessary to assign fills and pens (and textures 3D) to a composite in several places. If you want a purple metal roof to read as a purple metal roof in plan, you assign the attributes under floor plan and again under Model. I would like the ability to assign all attributes (to both plan and 3D) all at once to the composite skin directly. If it is viewed in model or plan it pulls the shared info. It would be best to have many choices available... such as having each composite be able to carry an extension for variations in color, texture.. whatever.... 2x6T&Groof.purple, 2x6T&Groof.mangochutney.. etc We have great control of displaying fills, so it would be real easy to generate colored presentation drawings.

Tying that (composite name.extension) to the listing function and you could generate more powerful takeoffs easily. Add to the composite panel places to directly assign database objects and you could really make material listing much simpler. Even better... have an improved database user interface do that window could remain open and drag/drop the database properties right to the skin.

While your at it, please place the same drag and drop database linking to the library panel.

thanks a bunch.. your a wonderful bunch of guys!
