Autotext for Archicad

I'd like to see some autotext functions in Archicad and not just plotmaker which you could use for labeling (sorry if this sound a lot like the Keynote topic.)

It would be nice if you could define variables for different notes. If you then update one note, all the other associated notes will adjust automatically.

Example:
You initially label the wall finish as 'facebrick'. You now need to adjust all these instances as 'plaster & paint' or 'roan satin facebrick', then it would be nice if you could pull down a menu and adjust some variables instead of looking for each place where you've entered this label. When you enter the text, you would have to choose from a predefined list.

Quite often, when you need to adjust text, you leave out some items, resulting in inconsistencies in the documentation.

I know there are workarounds such as 'GDL' & 'Search and Replace'.
