I am working with a Wacom Intuos 5 tablet with it's pen. My suggestion would be that the zoom-pan-orbit functions should be customizable (in the way that Cinema 4D works). Just consider my workflow in 3DS Max: one of my pen's buttons is assigned to the middle mouse wheel, then with pressing ALT and/or CTRL I can navigate in 3D without a problem (pan: just like in AC, the MMB; orbit: ALT+MMB; zoom: ALT+CTRL+MMB). Blazing fast. It is the only thing that disappoints me for a long time.
(I went through the menus, but I couldn't find the options to customize these functions.)
