Different fill on plan & section for walls

Hello
I'd like to see an option in the wall tool, where one can specify a different plan and section fill. (I'm still using AC 8.1, so not sure if AC9 is different)

Example, I sometimes don't want to have the wall plan indicate a fill for low walls, but on section I want it to indicate brickwork.

thanks

A long standing wish. I sometimes use the beam tool for low walls.

If you search the wish list, you will see it about 20 times...

This was a wish I made in 2005.
In many ways, it has been addressed as you now (from AC10?) have 'the floor plan display' options.

Haneef:

When you say "floor plan display options", I think you are referring to what is now called Model View Options, right? I see that I can override a fill to make it either transparent, window or solid sill (depending on item), but I do not see where I can chose any other alternate fill, different from floor plan display, such as a cross-hatch or concrete fill. Am I missing something?

No, he's referring to Floor Plan Cut Plane
