File open default question

When you go file/open and open a project file folder….the files show in list format and do not show the date modified detail without changing the view menu again.
Is it possible to have the date modified view open as a default?

I assume you are using Windows? I'm running OSX right now so I can't check that.

On the Mac it just remembers the last setting used (browser or list).

Yes, I am using Windows XP. Somehow the A10 defaults to a list in File/open. Previous versions remembered your last open setting.
It seems like such a small thing but it is really inconvenient to reset the default every time.
Hopefully, there is some way to fix this default.
