When drawing using the Favorite function in ArchiCAD's Line, it would be nice to have an Offset function so that two tasks can be done at once.
When working on a line set as Favorite
If Layer, Line type, Color and Offset are added...
There are several repetitive tasks that ask you how far you are from a wall.

No I meant the offset tool that is part of the 'relative construction methods'.
I have the 'control box' palette turned on - it is a part of that, but you can customise your own tool bars.

You might want to look at the 'relative construction methods'
There is a single and multiple offset option in there.

There was also something like this. ^^
I forgot what I studied because I was doing offset right away.
Q1. I would like to offset a line on the wall without drawing it on a flat surface. Is this possible? (I'm asking just in case. ^^ It's not on the YouTube link...)
How to Offset Elements in ArchiCAD - YouTube
However, what I mentioned is the Line offset function included in Favorite.
I mentioned this because I thought it would be good to have Layer, color, and offset in favorite.
( I thought of this because it is a favorite of ArchiCAD. )
It would be better if the multi function could be included. ^^
However, then it is not a LINE function, but rather the same as AutoCAD's Mline...
I also like Mline, but I don't use it much because it requires a lot of editing.
Have a nice day. ^^
Oh!
On second thought
I use multi-copy a lot in Drag, which Barry taught me.

If you want to offset something parallel to an edge, then use the offset tool.
If you just want to move your cursor to a starting point away from an element, then use the tracker.
Hover the mouse over the point you want to measure from (do not click).
Type X or Y or if you want a specific angle type A, then type the distance with a + or - after to determine the direction and then press ENTER.
Barry.

When you say offset tool, do you mean offset of reshape?
It doesn't click.
I would like to create a LINE at a distance from the wall slab beams in the cross section.
Can you please explain one more time?

thank you.
I didn't know this method.
I only found out that the function that works only when the line is pressed can be cut by controlling it with the ctrl key.
Where should I learn about functions that can be used by pressing line like this?
It took me a while to understand that I had to press line. ^^
Still, my hope is that we are together in Line....
Sorry I can't click on the solution. ㅠㅠ

As Barry said, you can use the offset command, and to speed up the workflow, create a keyboard shortcut for it

Could you please explain a little bit?
for example
As shown below, I offset the line by 30mm. Where can I learn the shortcut keys for specifying Layer, Pen, and Linetype?
