Interactive Schedule Units

It does not appear that one has the option to display zero inches in the Interactive Schedule (i.e. 7'-0" reads 7') -- please someone correct me if I'm wrong!!!

WISH: The IS units should be controlled by the Dimensions Preferences.

Laura:

As far as I can tell the units are controlled by Options>Preferences>Working Units and Levels, which doesn't work for me as I work in feet & decimal inches, but any schedule would need to be in feet & fractional inches. You are right, it should have its own control for units, Dimension preferences would be better, but each schedule with its own units would be best. If someone knows more than this, please let us know.

The way it currently works is that the scheduler reads the parameter format from inside the object being listed in the schedule. Yes, believe it or not, GDL object parameters have text formatting built into them.

That is what the scheduler uses. Short of a lot of custom programming, I am not aware of any other way to control it.,

I agree it would be nice to have the ability to have measurments show with feet inch format all the time.

I find it annoying that dimensions are precision controlled by the working units. All my sizes are xxxx.y mm
