Lightwave - full implimentation

Can't find a separate wishes section for presentation stuff, so here it is

I really REALLY wish Graphisoft would give us ALL of lightwave - including radiosity and HRDI lightmaps etc - then we could finally elimiate the time consuming and laborious process of maintaining and constantly synchronizing two separate models - one for design, and a separate one for professional quality presentation rendering.

Even if available as an extra optional component, these tools would be worthwhile

Lightwave 7.5 looks pretty good from where I am sitting & I am dreading the need to learn Studio Max just to get the radiosity I am looking for.

Paul,
Don't you mean Lightworks?

Cheers.

not everybody will want the full package, so the optional component idea makes good business sense i guess. although it would be nice if it were all there without an extra price raise!

we are having good experience with artlantis R for radiosity, and there is almost nothing to learn....

i find managing materials a total lightmare. wish there was just one type of shader for a material, lightworks, and that's it! (+ of course vectors hatching, but cover fills would be nice for walls too, then do a way with hatching in materials which can be troublesome anyhow)...

oops, off topic.

Yeah, lightworks as the base engine and to hell with the rest! Who ever uses Z-Buffer??
