Measure Tool to provide sum of lengths

i just wish - like a few other archiTools - that there be a one/multi-use toggle on the toolbar: like some functions in MS word - if you single-click the button you get to use it once, if you double-click it stays on for use until you double-click it off again . . .

I found it by accident.

Did you also catch that you can use "measure" to enter distances into Tracker? I'm not sure if that's new or not.

Not me - I've been waiting since May 2006 for GS to add it. There was not much point to it IMHO if we couldn't add the cumulative distances. And the areas are a great bonus! Good stuff, Graphisoft.

We were able to invoke the measure command during element creation, to transfer the measurement into the distance of the element, if that's what you mean?
