More freedom in composites

Hello Graphisoft,

Sometimes building elements must appear differently in horizontal section (plan) and vertical section. We can consider an example of corrugated sheet wall, capable to accept doors and windows (ergo, library parts are unusable here). In plan it should appear as LT shaped line - which can be achieved by implementing "fit to skin" custom fill - but in vertical section it should appear as one thick and one thin line. Actually this is possible only with some manual drafting and time consuming tricks, but combined use of COMPOSITES STRUCTURES and PARTIAL STRUCTURE DISPLAY is very close to achieve this. The problem consists in the impossibility one skin to appear INSTEAD of another in convenient display options. I would propose 2 work arounds:

- a possibility to unlock the (otherwise very common sensed) sequence core - other - finish in composite settings - thus making possible a core - finish - core structure

or

- to add in partial structure display dialog box additional options like "finishes only"

Cheers
