Navigator Upgrade

I know the navigator is the best thing in the world next to the track ball for most though it would be nice if there was a optimized version that just had drop downs for each of the areas....Thus the view map would just be a button that when you clicked that it would expand.

Interesting idea, in that it would go along with the Quick Options palette concepts and let people on laptops (e.g.) maximize their modeling space real estate.

But, personally, I have so many views for a typical project that I prefer having a list as now. Before I vote 'average', though, I'll wait to hear what others have to say...

Well I say Not Needed.
With screen sizes ever increasing I just find it a pain
expanding/collapsing window sizes.
I want my Navigator showing a list of my views
and I organise all my views in folders so in a very large
project I collapse those folders not currently needed.
