What is it you want your site plan to look like?
Can you post a screen shot?
Mine is just my plan view with some of the plan layers turned off (i.e. walls and annotation) and some site specific layers turned on (i.e. site survey, setout dimensions, etc.) and I will even do separate plans for landscaping and stormwater by manipulating the layers.
Just like you would for the floor plan and electrical plan.

To have for example Trees with the tree symbols but to have also shadow from the their 3D model. To see roofs, shadows, greenery and have multiple ways to control how we see it (this could be just done with graphical override). And still to have it as lights as possible.
