it's all in the title... Skp and even c4d files through the c4d exchange plugin give a triangulated faces with visible lines.
Could we have a sort of 3ds import option "force smooth" for all the imported objects.

I have the same request for long time. I`v heard the smoothing was on in the oldest C4D exchange plugin but then something happened.
Did they fix the problem in the latest plugin?
