Text & labels on top

It would save a bunch of time if labels and text (for notes, etc.) would automatically be on top in reference to the display order. It is time consuming to put the note in, undo, redo so it's highlighted, then go to display order to make the note on top.
Or at least put in an option for it in the default settings.

They are by default.

It's only if other elements have their Display Order tampered with that they are not.

I don' think you can change the hard-coded default order.
I usually select all Text and Labels and bring them all to the front. That's my solution, it is fast to do.
