click-on show length on lines and z on mesh points

I wish there was a click-on show length for lines, just like the show area option for fills.
It would be useful when drafting surveys, etc - when no need to formally dimension things but you want to be able to check accuracy.

Similarly, to show z parameters on mesh points (on plan) - I haven`t been able to find a way to do this.

Check the Element Info Palette under Window-> Palettes to see if it helps.

This exists on the pet palette already. Sort of.

Draw a line of any length. Highlight it and click an end node. the length is displayed. you can type a new length if desired.

this works for line segments and wall segments.

Thanks for the tips. I am aware of the options in the pet palette, but I was thinking of a constant display - like a label or so. Or just like a dimension but without actually dimensioning.
Like the area display for a fill.
I don't think this exists. Or maybe I did not get something.
