complex profile's library

I think complex profiles should be organized by categories/names in a hierarchical way (directories and sub), organized by types/material (several steel categories, wood, concrete, others…). And by default, at least, the standard steel profiles (nice library into the objects, but no way to get an accurate cut plan of inclined / rotated beams, AFAIK).
Actually, who's going to put a lot of profiles into this primitive scrolling display?

In addition we need to be able to export profiles to an external file and of course be able to import them back in. This will make exchanging profiles a bit more efficient. It would be nice if the profile manager could reference an external folder structure and reflect that same structure.

While we are on complex profiles it is absolutely imperative that when profiles are edited, previously placed walls maintain there defined height set in the wall setting dialog box (or info box) instead of reverting to the height defined in the complex profile manager. This bug (feature?) is very limiting to effectively using complex profile walls.

I could not agree more. This is an oversite on ArchiCAD's behalf.

YES! Used a complex profile last week for the first time and thought it very odd that settings like this were not retained.
