"Cooperate" with other cad programs

I'm sure I'm not the only one that has to share my file with people who use autocad. The autonumbering that is so great in archicad turns to nonsense once you save a file to autocad. And I need to give my client final dwgs in autocad.
Why can't it just stay the way you see it in the "plotmaker layout" (V10). Why can't products just work with each other instead of turning into jibberish... (Other things translate just fine but if it doesn't do everything you need it to it's a big pain... and wastes time and money and time and...!)

I agree with you. Most of my co-operators use autocad and even I have setup my dwg translator after export from Archicad I still have to do some corrections. It's a waste of time and really annoying
