It would be really useful to show more than one reference with the Trace & Reference palette at the same time with different colours and other options.
I've often thought this as well; but I could also see it crippling a lot of computers. Since references are stored in the project file, even a few can bog things down. Trying to simultaneously process multiple views as references would probably eat up more processing horse power than most computers have to give
I understand the pc can bug down with multiple references because needs to recognize 3D entities in the trace. What about if the trace is a snapshot of the real view. Still snappable and only 2d. Just a thought
