I tried the Roof Surfacer add-on from the 28 Goodies pack, and it works
well with how it associates to existing roofs, many options for types of
coverings and so on, it seemed pretty useful. But then I quickly ran
into a problem that IMO breaks the w...
I have been checking out Skyciv as a viable tool to help with rough
dimensioning of simpler structures where engaging a structural
consultant would be kind of overkill. Skyciv seems like a promising
option, and I got a one month subscription to play ...
I am having trouble importing point clouds in Archicad 28 (3120). The
same .E57 files (tried several) import without problems in Archicad 27
(5003). After selecting my point cloud, it is working for a second and

I think there is a bug related to interior elevations and elements that
are exactly touching the elevation limit. Tested in AC27 (5003 NOR). It

I would try duplicating the schedule, remo...
Looks like something is off with the file you are trying to import.Since
you are on macOS, did you by any chance export the .XLSX from Apple
Numbers, or is it a native Excel file? Numbers in my experience can be a
little wonky in importing/exporting ...
Use the mesh (terrain) tool instead. Unless you need it to have a
composite structure - then I would try a combination of a slab and mesh,
for instance if you have a concrete slab with sloped roof insulation
over it.
Late reply to an old post, but might be useful to someone anyway - Check
out the "Ransac" plugin in CloudCompare, this automatically recognizes
primary shapes in your point cloud, but you will need to experiment a
little to find parameters that work ...
