Sunshade lateral offset option in BASIC LIBRARY - Basic Windows ?

Dear community,

I'm using the Double Window from Archicad's Basic Library with sunshades, and I would like to offset them relative to the edge of the window opening.

Could you please help me figure out if there is an option to do so or what the workaround would be to achieve this ?

Hi Karilen,

There is no option for that, the shutter must match the width of the window and be positioned flush with the window reveal.

One possible solution is to create your own custom shutter panel by drawing it flat using modeling tools—such as the Slab tool, for instance.
This allows you to account for the offset at the side of the shutter, either by adding a representation of the hinges or by using a slab element made of a "Void" material.
However, this offset will not appear in the plan view.
