- Abvent and only Abvent supports the Maxwell rendering engine into Artlantis.
- When you render from Artlantis with the Maxwell Rendering engine you have a mxs file created, this file can be opened with the Maxwell stand alone program.

- The Maxwell rendering integration into Artlantis will be enhanced with the future versions.

...the two engines conceive some things in a different way and i think you bumped in one of these. MX doesn't use textures the same as Artlantis, therefore it is delimited to max. 15 layers. In Artlantis you can easily reach this limit if your shader already contains several maps and you add some more on top of it. Maxwell will always render the last 15 only and discard the rest.

The big difference between the two engines is in the material system and the fact that our ATL shaders will be translated to Maxwell language. Now the problem starts. ATL accepts almost all kind of proportion for the textures used to create some shader. Maxwell only squared ones. 512/512, 1024/1024 and so. Doesn't matter what resolution as long as it is squared. If you have some none squared maps in your shader Maxwell will stretch them and they appear buggy

The Maxwell engine doesn't show light sources included in an other object, even if it is set completely transparent.

At 39Hours 28min something happened to the Maxwell Render. The "Time to Next Sample Level" stopped counting down. It seemed to hang on at SL22
