Yes, that's correct I'm running Windows 10x64 on my Mac Pro.
I have the latest update of El Capitan 10.11.5.
I use Archicad on Windows because I'm a Structural Engineer and unfortunately there isn't any software for us on the Mac platform.

Today I bought Parallels desktop 11 as you said, but I'll wait for a couple of days to see how it will go before turning to Parallels.
For a start I disabled "Background updating" in Archicad.
