Subject: anybody tried TEVE??
TEVE is another version of VERT in the texture mapping routine.
You can use it with u,v parameters following the usual x,y,z ones.
I understand what UV mapping is in other software, and assume that TEVE is
something to do with that. i also recognise that you might need to use codes
of 1024,2048 and 4096 along with the normal codes of 2, 3, 4 etc in the COOR
statement.
So far so good.
But in my attempts to use it with something simple like a block, whatever I
write in as values for u,v makes no difference. The block is still textured
normally.
I hoped that TEVE would allow you to vary the texture somehow.
Anybody got any experience of this???
