API 5.2
The APIAny_GetElemCreatorToolUnIdID returns bad database error when Detail database is active.
It seems like a bug, I dont see a reason why it can not work same way as for floor plan database.
May be it is not a bug but a designed feature.

I can't keep the version numbers straight ... which version of AC does API 5.2 go with ... 8.1 I guess?
I don't have any of the old devkits installed anymore, so can't check ... but does this problem still exist in the 6.1 kit?
Best regards,

I met the issue in a project for 8.1 I am working.
Actually It is a very specific case, I dont think it will a big issue for most developers and me. I will just use other method instead of the function to
distinguish objects of my tool subtype along others.
But GS may check and fix it in a future API Kit, if it is a bug really.
