Contest Description
How do we relate to and define what is 'inside' and 'outside'? When we think of 'inside' we think of safety, privacy, and stability, while 'outside' reminds us of nature, public space, freedom.
What do they mean to you?
Unleash your creativity and help us build a giant architectural pixel puzzle with students and professionals from around the world based on these two concepts!
Feel free to use any personal interpretation, new materials and building techniques, political, environmental, and cultural factors that define a simple or complex space of your own.
Contest Rules
Submissions should be for a 4x4x4m interior or exterior space. Imagine the boundaries as three faces of a cube, one for each axis (x,y,z). You can look at those faces either as interior space or the exterior of a shell.
• The interior: 2 walls and a floor slab
• The exterior: 2 walls and a roof.

Check out steps you need to make:
- Download our template (INT) from the Building Together website and follow the instructions to create your model in Archicad!
- Submit your model at Building Together design challenge page so that we can add your design into the global puzzle.
- Create an Axonometric view of your model with the predefined view in the template or your own render.
- Submit your final design image under Entries/Enter the contest.
- Choose axonometric image to upload by clicking 'Upload image' (.jpeg or .png).
- Enter a creative title that describes your design the best.
Invite your friends to vote for you (or to submit their own design)!
You can also vote for your favorite design(s) by clicking on 'Like' button.
The 50 designs with the most votes will win cool prizes!
Each awarded participant will receive a BIMx Pro license and a goodie package valued at $100.
The first prize is a full discount voucher for a Graphisoft BIM Manager Program valid in the next 6 months.
Winners of the design challenge will be announced on September 27.
