BOMA Calcs and retain room names

what is the most efficient way to use multiple zones in order to analyize areas using zones. has anyone created a schedule for BOMA calcs? i have searched through here, read the manual, used Virtual Tutor, step by step, CAD to Quantity survey and there isn't a single source that explains how to go from zone to net rentable area calcs grabbing gross s.f., measured s.f., etc. i can create the zones for all of it.. how does one go about keeping the zones separate on a schedule? not listing the room names but only the rentable floor area and major vertical penetrations? is it in the id of the zone, or a custom user tag.... please assist

i figured out that you can have multiple zones on mulitple layers and scheme the schedule to list those zones you want. is this the right approach for BOMA calculations?

Yes.

I've set up BOMA Zone Categories and control selection and calculation by Layers and Calculation Schemes.

You are on the right track.
