License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. Grouping different window IDs

Fellas,

I'm wondering if I can get multiple door/window Id's under one column in the schedule if I've numbered them differently???

For example 3 windows all identical but under different IDs, grouped into 1 column.

Mate I think it's doable if you don't list the window IDs in the schedule. Just check 'Show uniform items as a single entry'.

Yep....guessed that as a work around, but im looking to have the ID's displayed as well, all grouped in a cell to match each window/door type.

The only way i can see to do this is to type them in manually into a comments cell. But i was hoping for a less time consuming method.

So you want a cell to say something like W12, W18, W25 for three windows that are identical, except their IDs?

I guess it's not feasible for you to just give these windows all the same ID, which is quite easy using the ID Manager.

Yes and Yes

We need the format to display differing ID's even though they are essentially the same window/door. Seems strange but im not the boss.

Well I hope your boss doesn't shoot the messenger, or you'll be in all sorts.

Maybe CadImage's Window & Door Builder can accomplish this using it's scheduling system. I can't remember, maybe a regular user will advise.

DWB can automatically 'Collate on Import' based on identical door/windows . . . regardless of ID.
