That is because your railing could be any length, multiple floors and can follow any path so there is no front or side views.
It is the same with other elements such as walls, slabs, roofs, etc., and I think even curtain walls.
You will only see a sample representation of what they look like.
The only elements that will show the true extent are objects including doors and windows.
That is why you can show the individual objects that make up the railings but some of these will only show a 'sample' image as well such as the top rail.

All you can do is create your own elevations of the railings.
Then place this together with the schedule on a layout page if you need the extra schedule information.
