Uniformat 2010 Classification

Hi, I would like to find and import the Uniformat 2010 Classification into ArchiCAD 21...there is an earlier version of Uniformat in my copy but I need to use the 2010 version...I have the CSI/CSC PDF with all the categories of the system but I can't imagine having to manually type all of it into ArchiCAD...does Graphisoft or someone else have a file that can be easily imported?
John

Hi Aaron, nice to hear from you again!

I'd forgotten about that page, but that's where I must have got the original version...

As you point out, there is some confusion around the version which Graphisoft is using as it refers version E1557-1997 and then in the pop-up window references Uniformat 2010 which are two different classifications although they have a similar origin.

The E1557-1997 version refers to a Uniformat II standard published by ASTM which has actually been superseded by a more recent version ASTM E1557 - 09(2015) (see <https://www.astm.org/Standards/E1557.htm>).

The pop-up window references Uniformat 2010 which is actually the one I am looking for and the one indicated in the referenced PDF. It is jointly published by CSI/CSC (see<https://www.csiresources.org/practice/standards/uniformat>).

I've never gone through and compared the two versions but this article hints at the confusion that can occur if both are used on the same project: <
<https://solibri.wordpress.com/2015/09/15/uniformat-check-ruleset/>.

I've emailed Graphisoft and they are going to confirm which version they actually used in their classification.

The attached screen snap shows the two referenced versions...

Kyla from Graphisoft has just informed me that they have revised the Uniformat classifications on their webpage...the one that was originally on the site has been correctly re-labelled as the 'ASTM Uniformat II', and they have also added the '2010 CSI Uniformat' classification...
