License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. Creating Wall Sections with break lines ?

Anonymous
Not applicable
I want to create a wall section in archicad to place on sheet layout. What is the proper way or method in which you would create one. Furthermore, if the wall section were to big to fit on the layout sheet, how would one break up the view using break lines to make it fit the desired sheet at the required scale. when responding please keep in mind I am new.

Thank you

Johnny:

Just place the view of the wall section twice (or place it once and drag a copy), then use the pet palette edit edge option to make each view just a portion of the entire wall section. You can then draw break lines on the layout at the matching edges of the two views.

If you are using ArchiCAD 11, you can place the layout as a trace reference behind the wall section to see how it fits before placing the wall section in the layout.

And for a easier way to draw those breaklines.....Check the Depository for James Murray's Cutline object.
