I build floor from "slab" tool and some flooring is tile. I set the Floor fill to be also the tile shape so it shows on floor plan as such.
But then, no matter what I do , the Fill is showing on floor plan at where is cabinetry making the floor plan look busy. it should not show "above" objects that sits on the slab, including furniture but it does show it as it.
- no overrides
- Display order is set to the back of the backs possible..
- Floor height is correct (and yes, it is set to be under objects).
- Objects are not transparent for it to be showing floor texture underneath...I also tested furniture, it would also show above it.
- No, I can't cut the floor right at cabinetry because it needs to be underneath toekicks which are 3" from top view of the cabs which would show anotheerrrrr line.
- yes, I can just use simple 2D cover fill above just standard clean slab... But because of schedules, it is not ideal to do it that way...
the goalis for me to have clear plans and I don't want flooring fill showing if item is sitting on it (including furniture).
What else could be wrong that the Fills are showing above items although the slab is underneath and push back in display order?

I did not have trace turned on but I found the setting, clicked on the make fills and zone transparent (display only) but it did not help
Sunday
I checked again it was the transparency of the cabinet. 😭 Well, thank you @Barry Kelly

I am confused, you have selected two posts as the solution.
So have you found the solution or is it still not working for you?
Barry.

I have checked the ci tools cabinetry and some furniture pieces and for some unknown reason they were set to be transparent so it was the issue. I thought I checked it
