PM missing BGArchicad path

Has anybody run across this issue (I tried searching, but I couldn't find anything)?

While trying to update or link some drawings in PM, I get an Error! saying
PlotMaker could not launch ArchiCAD, because it does not know ArchiCAD's path on your computer.

ArchiCAD may not have been installed or launched on this computer yet.
Anybody have any idea what's going on or what I can do to fix this. We do have ArchiCAD installed (that's what we made the model/drawings in).

have you moved or renamed the archicad folder (or the graphisoft folder)

No. Nothing has changed. Everything is linked up just like the other files that work(ed?). Strange one.

You can always throw your preference files and see if that helps.

You can find them in your documents and settings\user\Application Data\Graphisoft\PlotMaker 9.0.0

HTH.
Cheers.

Thanks for the help and suggestions. Currently tech support is working on this problem. I sent them the files (pln and lbk) and I'll keep you posted of any developments. Might be an isolated case, something that will hopefully not affect a lot of users, but still, just in case.

I have actually had this happen to me about a half dozen times. I have always had success repairing the problem by throwing out the Plotmaker preferences.

This time it is not helping at all. I think what caused the problem was having two copies of the same .pln open when I tried to update files in plotmaker. The error immediately came up and is now persistent, no files are updateable in any project. I have thrown out the prefs repeatedly and have had no luck...

I am loath to re-install the entire Archicad bundle as I don't want to reconfigure add-ons etc.... (I saw this as the suggestion on another post).

I am wondering if anyone has found another way to work around this bug...

I am trying to get some plans out today, of course...

Looking forward to no more Plotmaker as it is the only part of my Archicad experience that has been frustrated with some buginess.
Thanks

I have fixed this problem, again....

In addition to throwing out Plotmaker File:

C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\Graphisoft\Plotmaker 9.0.0 U.S.A. R1

I also threw out

C:\Documents and Settings\User\Graphisoft\plotmaker.rpt

Dunno why, but it worked...

Hope it can help some desperate soul on deadline day...
