Hi all.

How can I set a roof so that it is only selectable from an edge rather than from the plane itself?

The surface detection is an option of The Arrow Selection Tool . It's global for all elements. You can't set it on an element base.

 You can Activate or deactivate it from the Arrow Selection Tool or you can temporarily do the same with the space bar when in Selection mode.
