exporting to autocad problems

Anonymous
Not applicable
I have searched the forums but can't seem to find the answer to my question.
i need to export plans sections elevations etc to autocad so engineers can use the files. my original drawings include some 2d work and fills etc to make the drawings legible, however when the exported file is opened in autocad all the fills block out the lines.

my problem is mainly where i have for example a set of sliding doors with some windows above. in plan this shows up as a lot of lines that become illegible. to solve this i have used a fill over the top and drawn in just the sliding doors. I wasn't able to always solve this problem using the floor plan cut plane, so found it easier and quicker to do simple 2d over the top

What i would like to be able to do is just export what is visible, not objects or lines behind fills or anything else

Do i need to delete all the other information? surely there is a better way!
