"Archicad is not responding"

Sometimes when I am updating some drawings in Plotmaker from the Archicad file, I get this warning message: "Archicad is not responding".

I was wondering if anyone knows what is the cause of this comunication problem within Archicad<--->PlotMaker.

if you click 'OK' and wait it out, the update process should finish properly.

The message is simply telling you that BGArchiCAD (opening in the background) is taking forever to load your .pln, probably because of huge or missing libraries (?). Once we upgraded everyone to G5's and did a little library modification, that error went away. I think it was even prior to our upgrade tfrom 8.1 to 9 - guess it has been a while sine I saw that message.

Thank you for the information. I guess the problem is really as you have stated—'huge or missing libraries'. Or maybe missing objects?
I gues I must buy a new G5 computer!
