I couldn't find anyone else commenting on this, so here goes: in general, I have found Microstation's dimensioning tools to be superior to any other drafting program. But what specifically is missing from ArchiCAD that I cannot find even an approximate alternative is the "Minimum Between" dimension. Excellent for dimensioning between non-orthagonal objects (particularly useful in site plans in rural settings that do not have the benefit of street grids or regular property divisions). You could simply choose two lines or objects, and Microstation would automatically place the dimension line at the point where the two were closest, on whatever angle that line happened to be. If I am wrong, someone please show me where this tool lives!
