We use BIMx on a daily basis as a mean to develop OpenBIM by sharing data using BIMx as a simple and free open medium of communication. Our approach is innovative in the way that it pushes the boundaries of the way BIMx has been imagined in order to ultimately share all BIM dimensions related data embedded directly in the ArchiCAD model. BIMx was used to discuss a complex model for the conversion and retrofit of a listed building.
