I haven't seen it, but it has gotten good reviews here - and it's cheap, so just buy it?

Have you worked through all of the step-by-step tutorials? If you have 8.1 or earlier, have your worked through the Training Guide (printed book, also cheap)? If 9.0, have you gone through the PDF Training Guide (which is really the old step-by-step, expanded into two volumes)?

The ArchiCAD for AutoCAD users is really about freshening the mind to ArchiCAD and ArchiCAD thinking since the worst candidate for ArchiCAD productivity is a seriously entrenched AutoCAD user. They often need lengthy counseling to cope with the simplicity of the BIM compared to the cryptic fifedom they are used to.

I'm going to agree with Karl:

Really, the new Training guide is much more than
the old step-by-step, expanded into two volumes)

I would recommend it for a new user way before I would recommend "ArchiCAD for AutoCAD Users" (which I am definitely not , NOT recommending).

For learning ArchiCAD you can not beat the Training Guide! The ArchiCAD for AutoCAD Users is great for dealing with legacy. But there are some things that have changed since it was written.
