I`m switching our design workflow from Revit to Archicad on macOS due to Autodesk’s permanent abandonment of native Mac Revit. However, the missing built-in reinforcement tool is the biggest obstacle for hydraulic & structural design. Third-party add-ons cannot fully match Revit’s native rebar efficiency on irregular hydraulic structures. We sincerely suggest Graphisoft schedule native reinforcement development in future version updates to help Mac-based engineering firms complete full-BIM design inside Archicad.
