Dear Community members,
We are pleased to announce the release of Archicad 29 Library Update 2!
This update focuses on improving door and window documentation flexibility, streamlining regional workflows, and extending MEP plumbing functionality.
Key changes include:
MVO Door/Window Opening Line Override for INT & SWE Libraries
Door and window opening line controls have been significantly expanded for the International and Swedish libraries. Users can now assign five different Opening Line Types to individual sashes and leaves, allowing more precise documentation for complex configurations such as terrace doors, fixed sidelights, and multi-sash windows. The new workflow also introduces centralized MVO controls, additional axis line options, and improved uniform editing capabilities for multi-sash elements.
Redesigned settings dialogs for INT & SWE doors/windows
The “Opening Type and Angle” interfaces have been reorganized to provide a clearer and more consistent editing experience across all door and window types. The updated dialogs now focus on one sash at a time, making opening settings easier to understand and manage while improving overall usability.
MEP Siphon Support for Hand-wash Basins and Sinks
A new Siphon object has been added to the Plumbing Fixtures and Bathroom library package. It can be used both as a standalone object and as an integrated component within applicable sanitary elements. The new functionality includes adjustable siphon connection settings, editable hotspots, and improved integration with MEP systems, supporting more detailed and realistic plumbing representations.
Japanese Library Bugfixes
This update also delivers a series of fixes for Japanese library parts, resolving display and representation issues affecting doors, windows, and labels in plan, section, and elevation views.
