As part of Graphisoft's move towards a subscription-based model, we have recently made a public announcement about the next phase of our transition program, which we believe is important for you as valued Archicad customers:
- Archicad perpetual and Software Service Agreement (SSA)/ Forward (FWD) licenses will be available for purchase by new customers until December 31, 2024, as previously announced.
- Existing customers with Archicad perpetual and SSA/FWD licenses can purchase additional perpetual licenses, and upgrade older Archicad versions until December 31, 2025.
- SSA/Forward contracts can be renewed through the end of 2025, with Graphisoft continuing to service active contracts through the end of 2026.
- From 2026 onward, access to Archicad will be available exclusively through a subscription model.
- SSA/FWD customers can convert to Archicad Collaborate subscriptions at the same price as SSA/FWD in 2024. Starting in 2025, they can convert to Archicad Studio subscriptions at the same price. This offer is designed to help SSA/FWD customers fully benefit from Graphisoft’s subscription offerings at a highly preferential price.
- Early adopters in 2024 will receive additional benefits, including cloud collaboration, by default.
We recognize that we cannot respond to individual questions posted on the Community, but we actively monitor discussions and other communication channels to address common concerns. Clear and accurate information is essential, and our SSA/FWD Conversion to Subscription webpage will serve as the central source for updates. This includes a comprehensive FAQ section, which will be the single source of truth for all updates.
