Dear Community members,
This October, Graphisoft is taking part in conversations that connect technology, design, urban development, and professional practice across Europe and North America. From AEC innovation and AI to transit-oriented communities, design leadership, and knowledge-sharing, these events offer valuable opportunities to explore new ideas, strengthen professional connections, and help shape the future of the built environment.
CDay brings together professionals interested in digital planning, BIM workflows, and the practical use of technology in the AEC industry. Hosted in St. Pölten, the two-day event provides a setting for participants to exchange experiences, discover new approaches, and connect with peers and industry partners. It offers an opportunity to explore how digital tools and collaborative processes can support more efficient and informed project delivery.
Presented by Graphisoft as part of the 2026 AIA|LA City Leaders Breakfast Series, this roundtable reception brings architects, designers, and community stakeholders together with Sade Elhawary, Assemblymember for California’s 57th District. The discussion offers an opportunity to explore policy, community investment, and the role of collaboration in creating a more inclusive, sustainable, and economically competitive Los Angeles.
Hosted by AVAIL, Confluence Lexington is an invite-only professional-development event for leaders in architecture, engineering, construction, design technology, and product management. This year’s theme, The Future-Ready AEC Firm, explores how firms can respond to evolving technology, workforce expectations, and business demands by building stronger foundations in people, processes, data, and project knowledge. The three-day program is designed to foster dialogue between AEC firms and technology companies through expert-led sessions and collaborative exchange.
Presented by Graphisoft as part of the 2026 AIA|LA City Leaders Breakfast Series, this roundtable reception welcomes Darcy L. Coleman, Vice President of Asset and Investment Management at Alagem Capital. With extensive experience in the acquisition, development, renovation, repositioning, and sale of high-value real estate assets, Coleman will bring a valuable perspective to discussions on investment, development, and the forces shaping Los Angeles. The event creates space for architects, designers, and community stakeholders to exchange ideas about a healthy, sustainable, and economically competitive future for the city.
Presented by Graphisoft as part of the 2026 AIA|LA City Leaders Breakfast Series, this roundtable reception features Nick Saponara, Executive Officer of Transit Oriented Communities at LA Metro. His work spans programs, projects, and policies that support vibrant communities around Los Angeles’ expanding transit system, including joint-development partnerships, land-use planning, economic development, and active transportation. The session invites architects, designers, and community stakeholders to discuss how transit-oriented development can help create healthier, more connected, and sustainable urban environments.
RELEASE [AEC] is a one-day technology event for the architecture, engineering, and construction community, bringing professionals together to explore the digital innovations reshaping practice. Held at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie in Paris, the program includes keynote sessions, live demonstrations from technology companies and startups, and networking opportunities. With a strong focus on AI, automation, efficiency, and practical digital workflows, the event offers a space to examine how technology can support creativity and improve the way AEC professionals work.
Organized by AIA California, the Monterey Design Conference brings together architects and design professionals for a distinctive program of inspiration, education, and connection. Held every two years in a scenic coastal setting, the conference features globally recognized designers and emerging voices sharing innovative projects, design philosophies, cross-disciplinary perspectives, and responses to today’s social and environmental challenges.
